Mike's EIS4000 Editor

The purpose of this tool is to quickly and easily design the contents of the two user-definable pages on the EIS4000 engine monitor. You see the "virtual" EIS at the top, and the draggable data widgets at the bottom. There are over 50 widgets, representing all of the data types that the EIS can display. By dragging these data widgets, you can assemble your perfect user-defined page.

As you drag items onto the virtual EIS you will notice that the target characters are highlighted. If the spaces are not occupied the highlight will be green. If any of the characters overlap existing data, the highlight will be red. If you make a mistake, click the "Clear Page" button and start over.

You can use the "Next" and "Previous" buttons on the virtual EIS to see the user defined pages as well as the built-in pages. The "Display" button does not currently do anything.

Once you are happy with your user-defined pages, click the "Show Data" button. You will see the data that the real EIS needs you to enter. You can print this page using the "Print" button. Take the printout to your plane and enter the values in the EIS.

Your pages will be saved on your computer so you can return and use this tool over and over.

For more information about the EIS, visit the Grand Rapids Technologies website.
